The Challenge
The mixed office and warehouse environment required cabling across very different spaces, including warehouse areas where installation work needed to be completed at heights of up to 8 metres.
The Cat7a installation also required careful planning of cable routes, containment and outlet positioning to maintain the correct bend radius and ensure reliable termination.
The Solution
A high-specification commercial data cabling installation was delivered using Cat7a cabling and OM4 fibre, providing connectivity between server and main data cabinets.
The installation included:
🔹 Cat7a structured cabling
🔹 OM4 fibre cabling
🔹 Server and data cabinet connectivity
🔹 WiFi and DECT access point cabling
🔹 Bespoke cable containment
🔹 Dado and maxi trunking
🔹 Testing following installation
Specialist containment and pre-designed cable routes were used to accommodate the requirements of Cat7a cabling throughout the office and warehouse.
