The Challenge
Sandwell Start-Up Hub is a busy, public-facing environment used by council staff, start-ups and members of the public, with more than 200 concurrent users placing significant demands on the network.
The existing infrastructure suffered from inconsistent Wi-Fi coverage, slow speeds and limited bandwidth, while unreliable connectivity to council headquarters affected access to critical systems.
Sandwell Council required a secure, high-performance wireless network capable of supporting different user groups while providing the scalability needed for future growth.
The Solution
DTE designed and delivered a modern network infrastructure to improve Wi-Fi performance, security and resilience across the Start-Up Hub.
