Everton Football Club’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium is a purpose-built, 52,769-seat venue designed to become one of the most advanced football stadiums in Europe.
Replacing the historic Goodison Park, the new stadium was created to enhance the matchday experience while generating revenue throughout the year through concerts, conferences, hospitality and large-scale public events.
To achieve these ambitions, the club required a stadium WiFi solution capable of supporting tens of thousands of fans alongside the operational systems that keep a modern stadium running.
The challenge
Modern football stadiums rely on far more than public guest Wi-Fi.
Everton needed a network capable of supporting thousands of simultaneous users while connecting every operational system across the venue.
The new infrastructure needed to:

The solution
Everton deployed a wireless-first infrastructure designed specifically for high-capacity sporting venues.
The network delivers seamless coverage throughout seating areas, hospitality suites, concourses, fan zones and outdoor event spaces, while centralised cloud management enables rapid provisioning, monitoring and optimisation.
