The Challenge
Kesko operates a central warehouse in Örebro, Sweden, supporting its K-Bygg, K-Rauta and Onninen operations.
Warehouse operators use forklift trucks to pick orders before printing consignment labels containing the information required to identify and track each shipment.
However, the warehouse was using multiple printer brands, creating different label formats, limited visibility over printer performance and a need to manage supplies from several vendors.
Kesko needed a more reliable and cost-effective printing solution that could simplify operations and support efficient warehouse workflows.
The Solution
Working with Pro ID, Kesko standardised its warehouse printing environment using Zebra ZQ630 mobile industrial label printers.
Printers were installed across the warehouse forklift fleet, enabling operators to print consignment labels directly where they were needed.
